Peanut Butter Chia Pudding Recipe
Ingredients:
30 grams of chia seeds (about 2 tablespoons)
1 cup (240 ml) almond milk (or any milk of your choice)
1-2 teaspoons sweetener (honey, maple syrup, or agave syrup)
1 tablespoon peanut butter (smooth or crunchy)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
Fresh fruits, chopped nuts, or granola for topping (optional)
Instructions:
Mix the Ingredients:
In a glass jar or bowl, combine the chia seeds, almond milk, sweetener, peanut butter, and vanilla extract if using.
Stir well, ensuring the peanut butter is well incorporated with the liquid and chia seeds.
Let it Set:
Cover the jar or bowl and place it in the refrigerator.
Allow the mixture to sit for at least 4 hours, or overnight, so the chia seeds absorb the liquid and create a pudding-like texture.
Stir Again:
After about an hour in the fridge, give the mixture another stir to prevent clumping and ensure even distribution of the chia seeds and peanut butter.
Serve and Enjoy:
Once the pudding has thickened, it’s ready to serve.
Top with fresh bananas, a drizzle of extra peanut butter, or a handful of granola or chopped nuts for added texture and flavor.
Variations:
Chocolate Peanut Butter Chia Pudding: Add 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder for a rich, chocolatey flavor.
Banana Peanut Butter Chia Pudding: Mash half a banana and mix it in with the peanut butter for a creamy, banana-infused taste.
Peanut butter adds creaminess, protein, and a satisfying flavor to this chia pudding, making it even more nutritious and filling!
