Microgreens Storage Tips

Local-Micros wants your microgreens to stay fresh longer. Here are some easy tips:

  1. Use the Container: Keep the microgreens in the container they come in with the included silica dry pack.

  2. Refrigerate Right Away. Microgreens are sensitive to heat after cut. Place the container in your fridge's crisper drawer for the best results.

  3. Check for Moisture: If you see any moisture, simply blot it with a paper towel. Every other day flip the leftover product in the container to keep fresh.

  4. Store Upright: To prevent squishing, store the container upright.

  5. Peas and Sunflowers last longer (up to 15 days) in the fridge than broccoli, radish and other smaller micros.
